Maintenance Coordinator - Street & Bridge

Duties:
|
- Supervises maintenance crews.
- Plans, coordinates, and manages maintenance projects on City streets, alleys, ROWs, and easements.
- Supervises, schedules, assigns, and monitors maintenance projects for Street & Bridge Division.
- Responsible for employees’ time sheets, vacation, sick time, overtime, evaluations, and all other appropriate documentation.
- Responsible for enforcing all safety regulations. Holds monthly safety meetings.
- Completes and files accident reports as needed for Risk Management Division.
- Must attend Accident Review Board meetings with employees. Obtains quotes for materials and services.
- Works with Purchasing Division for material contracts.
- Enters all data from work orders in Asset Management System.
- Oversees the maintenance of all vehicles and equipment.
- Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates new employees.
- Performs other duties as required. Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Some overtime after hours on holidays and weekends required.

Minimum Standards & Essential Job Functions:
|
- High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of five years’ experience in street construction and maintenance.
- Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and office administrative functions.
- Knowledge of construction methods for streets and concrete structures.
- Paving and sealcoat experience preferred.
- Experience with construction survey methods preferred.
- Pesticide and Herbicide Applicator Certifications preferred.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Class A CDL preferred. Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
